Here are various drills designed to specifically target one aspect of learning how to use the Cangjie input system. They come with recommendations of which lessons you should already be familiar with before starting.

Base Root Practice

Drill exactly the base roots to develop muscle memory for where they are on the keyboard. Recommended after Lesson 2.

Practice visual recognition and muscle memory of auxiliary forms of philosophy roots. Recommended after Lesson 4.

Auxiliary Form Practice: Stroke Roots

Practice visual recognition and muscle memory of auxiliary forms of stroke roots. Recommended after Lesson 5.

Auxiliary Form Practice: Human Body Roots

Practice visual recognition and muscle memory of auxiliary forms of human body roots. Recommended after Lesson 6.

Auxiliary Form Practice: Character Shape Roots

Non-Compound Character Practice

Drill the ability to immediate break down a non-compound character into Cangjie roots at a glance. Recommended after Lesson 11.

Compound Character Practice

Drill the ability to split a compound character into its components. Recommended after Lesson 13.

Type out the entirety of the 千字经 almost exactly the way you'd type it out on a desktop (simulated Cangjie IME). Recommended after Lesson 17.
